Bespoke fastener design and development
If you can’t find a fastener in our standard product range that meets
your application needs, we can design one from scratch or propose a
modified version of a standard product.
From a simple length change to feature additions, or a material or
finish change from standard, we can quickly come up with a design
change specification and quote based on quantity and turnaround to
suit your needs.
For a completely bespoke design fastener, we will discuss your exact
requirements to make a recommendation on:-
A fastener type selection based on parent material properties if
applicable, application and installation method,
Strength and in service performance requirements,
Material selection,
Heat treatment selection,
Finishes and corrosion performance,
Drawing and specification proposal.
We can also reverse engineer a product based on samples, with the
caveat that you would need to provide us with material/finish,
tolerance and performance requirements prior to signing off on our
drawing.
If you need help or advice on installing any of our fasteners, or need
custom tooling designing for a special job, we can also work with you
to come up with a solution.
