Info
PIAS®-PNC self-piercing nuts are designed to provide cost effective mid-strength threads ranging from M4 to M10 in
thin metal panels. They are available in material property classes 8 and 9 and can be specified for panels ranging
from 0.6mm to 3.5mm. Depending on the panel thickness, a pre-formed depression in the panel is required if a
flush surface is needed. The Pias® installation tooling system is required to install Pias® nuts.
Available in metric thread sizes in strength class 8 and 9 steel, they can be supplied as unplated or with a range of
electro plated zinc finishes including zinc/clear, zinc/nickel and zinc/thick film passivated.
