Broaching fasteners provide strong reusable threads in non ductile materials such as printed circuit boards, polycarbonates, acrylics, glass epoxy and resin laminates etc.

 

Broaching Standoffs are available in steel with an electro tin finish which provides excellent solderability and stainless steel.

 

Broaching standoffs can also be installed into soft aluminium as an alternative to self clinching fasteners if necessary (maximum panel hardness limit - 60 HRB for steel parts and 70 HRB for stainless steel part).
