June 2016 NEW PRODUCTS FOR STONE, COMPOSITES AND SANDWICH PANELS We have launched a new range of products designed specifically for use in stone, solid surface materials, composites and sandwich panels. KEEP-NUT® is a revolutionary self-anchoring female threaded insert that can be pressed into stone and solid materials. It requires no special equipment or adhesives, just drill a blind hole and press the insert in. MASTER-PLATE® is a cost effective range of studs, standoffs and nuts for composites, that can be bonded in place with structural adhesive or encapsulated during the moulding or laying-up process. DEFORM-NUT® is a new type of threaded insert system that combines mechanical anchoring and structural adhesive to provide strong load-bearing threads in sandwich panel materials (with a honeycomb or composite internal structure). Our current ISO9001:2008 accreditation certificate expires on 23rd May 2016. ACS registrars carried out a scheduled annual audit on 13th May and recommended continued accreditation. In a joint venture with Press-Form Machinery Ltd, we will be exhibiting our range of fasteners for sheet metal along side Press-Forms Haeger range of fastener insertion machines. April 2016 Our website has been Updated and expanded to include dimensional and technical data for even more of our product range. January 2016 Change of courier to address delivery service reliability issues Customer satisfaction is a key point in Northern Precision’s quality policy. The performance and service levels provided by sub-contractors such as couriers can impact customer satisfaction directly. Since 2009 Northern Precision’s courier of choice has been DPD. Until recently DPD’s delivery performance has been generally very good. However, during 2015 an increase in late deliveries, lost or miss-routed consignments, lack of will or ability to make things right when it goes wrong, forced us to address the issues directly by changing courier. From 4th of January 2016 all standard domestic and international non-palletised consignments will be shipped using Parcelforce. Mainland UK shipments are sent on a next working day service and there are options available for by midday, 10am, 9am and Saturday by midday delivery for urgent orders. January 2016 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
