Material & Finish
Electro Zinc Plated Steel (ZI) parts are suitable for installation in ductile panels with a maximum recommended hardness of 60 HRB. Stainless Steel (A2) parts are suitable for installation in ductile panels with a maximum recommended hardness of 70 HRB. Aluminium (AL) parts are suitable for installation in ductile panels with a maximum recommended hardness of 50 HRB.

RoHS REACH COMPLIANT
Self-Clinching Keylock Standoffs reduce the time and costs associated with traditional assembly methods for panel spaced applications such as mounting and detaching PC boards, panels, or components easily without requiring any tools or additional hardware.   This fastener can also reduce or eliminate the risks associated with loose hardware potentially damaging internal circuitry.   Utilising a special proven clinch feature, once installed this fastener provides a flush finish on the underside of the panel, meaning that minimal surface finishing is required after installation. Suitable for installation in steel and aluminium panels as thin as 1mm, the quick-release feature is suitable for any panel material from 1.45mm to 1.62mm thick.   Like all self clinching fasteners they are installed using a parallel squeezing action, so require access to both sides of the panel.   Self-Clinching Keylock Standoffs are available in a range of lengths (manufactured to order), in electro zinc plated carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and are suitable for installation in ductile panels with a recommended maximum hardness of 60 HRB for steel parts, 70 HRB for stainless steel parts and 50 HRB for aluminium parts.
